Album Index

Since blog.hr doesn't have an internal search facility, I've created an alphabetical index of all the albums posted in the blog. You can press ctrl+f to search for specific keywords.

This isn't a realtime list, check the last update time and look for more recent albums in the blog itself (http://sakalli.blog.hr).

Collection really amazing. You are doing for the musical community much much more that many people that claim to be promoters of good music (with badly written reviews and miser-like attitudes as to the subject of music through blogs. Congrats and carry on like this as far as you wish (for me you have done more than enough).

called in for a few minutes and ended up spending most of the day in here, what a great library to get lost in.... ;)

awesome - just my kind of music. I was converting my scratched vinyl to CD but, now you have saved me a lot of work.

Do you have anything by Horslips? I've been trying without success to find 'Drive the Cold Winter away' from 1976.
Keep it up.

What is so great about this blog is that it encapsulates most of my misspent youth in one place. Yes guys I am 54 trawling the web and recapturing some of what has been mislaid, lost or (as in the case of some of the greatest) stolen over the intervening years.
Types of music comes and goes but this stuff is never going to disappear thanks to the likes of Sakalli - and as for the legality of it all - well it sends me off to the store to buy some more. God bless rock n roll

Hello

I guess you don't mind that those who link to you post your albums eg you posted hallejah at beginning of year, then chris goes posts in summer now evermore blues posts it other day? very interesting? How many blogs do you run?

Sakalli said...

> link to you post your albums
Yes I don't. The important thing is that these albums gets to as much people as possible. There's no harm in linking them or re-packaging/uploading them for that matter.

> How many blogs do you run?
Only one --> http://sakalli.blog.hr. I use this site only for indexing purposes.

Thank you.

Thanx. your blog is great.

Dear Sakalli, music blogs are sprouting around like mushrooms on the web, but yours - including your style - is top of the league and will stay there, I'm sure. Now, today I listened to Haggard, great music but that awful bogey grating voice takes away all the listening pleasure. I do like that sort of music, however. Did your ever hear of Subway to Sally, Schandmaul, Corvus Corax, In Extremo? They all sing in German, true, but then, what's wrong with it? Really, I find refreshing to listen to some quite good music in another language than the ubiquitous English. Give them a try, I'm sure you and our fellow bloggers won't be disappointed. Francesco, Alessandria, Italy

This is the very best collection I have ever seen.
In the last weeks I sought how I can get back some old lp's which are lost or stored fare away from my actual place. And my old Thorens (Phono) is also behind the end.
...And now this...Great.
Very good collected.
Thank you a lot.

Oh... my... God! Wow!

I've been browsing through a number of prog blogs in the last few days, and I have to say this is by far the most impressive I've come across!

Now if you could just post some more Manfred Mann's Earth Band it would be even more awesome ;-)

Seriously though, your blog rules as it is!

Thanks for all the hard work.

i would like you yo consider a huge task for the sake of compromise, which involves posting your albums in megaupload as well as rapidshare because most of the public libraries in Canada dont let you use rapidshare. this would allow more clients access to your catalogue & make your site even more popular. thx for reading this

Hi, Your site is amazing!! We have already downloaded so many gems thanks to you! We are HUGE art rock fans ... especially Mike Rutherford. Do you perhaps have any Red 7? It was Mike Rutherford's side project. We've been searching but it's impossible to find (to download). We would LOVE to have their 2 albums. Since you have such an amazing collection we were hoping you could use your magical powers. There's only 2 albums: "Red 7" (Self Titled) (1985) and "When the Sun Goes Down" (1987). Thanks again for your wonderful site and we wish you good luck!
